For three days, a group of volunteers descended onto the grounds of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church on Center Street to pretty the place up a bit.

A sponsorship between the Journey Disaster Response Team and Aurora Health Care will allow an expanded response to food insecurity in Racine, Kenosha and Walworth counties.

Journey Disaster Response has been delivering food to people in need since 2020, when the pandemic started.

The public is invited to join the Mount Pleasant Police Department’s community oriented police house and the Journey Disaster Response Team.
