Help Rebuild Lives After Hurricane Helene
The devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee has left hundreds of families displaced, living in tents along roadsides and parking lots. Entire communities have been uprooted, homes swept away, and lives tragically altered. But amidst the heartbreak, there’s hope. Journey Disaster Response Team (DRT) is committed to delivering critical aid and providing long-term support to rebuild lives and restore hope.
HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Donate Supplies
Your support is essential in delivering much-needed resources to affected communities. Over the past two months, we’ve sent five semi-truck loads of critical supplies (~173,000 pounds) to the disaster zones.
As we continue to provide support through the restoration phase, the need for specific supplies will change. In one North Carolina County alone, our partner organization has filed over 82,000 damage claims for area homeowners and are in the process of building new homes or restoring existing homes. Supplies needed for this phase include:
Building materials (lumber, sheetrock, hardware, windows, doors, roofing, etc)
Financial support to purchase supplies, appliances and other items at discounted rates
Fuel Cards (for heavy machinery and equipment)
Ministry volunteers
Every donation directly reaches families in need through our trusted partnerships.
Volunteer Your Time and Skills
